Those eligible are automatically enrolled in our contributory Group Personal Pension Scheme, into which we contribute 3%, and employees 5%. You may increase your contribution.

Some employees choose to reduce their monthly pay by an amount equivalent to their chosen regular contribution to the pension plan. In return, the company pays an additional amount into their pension fund which is equivalent to the reduction in pay.

We operate an employer-funded group life plan through Legal & General for qualifying employees, available after satisfactory completion of their probation period. An employee’s beneficiaries would receive a tax-free lump sum of up to two times the employee’s basic annual salary, in the event of a successful claim.

Employees are welcome to join AXA Private Medical Insurance, following successful completion of their probation. Membership details, online claims and discounts can be managed through a personal online account. The only cost to employees is the income tax due on the premium. We reimburse the cost for professional memberships that are actively used and relevant to an employee’s role such as: ARB, RIBA and CIAT. Employees should pay for their membership and claim it back through expenses.

Our salary-sacrifice scheme enables employees to buy a bicycle through the company, exempt from income tax and national insurance, saving up to 40% of the cost of the bicycle and accessories. Employees pay for the bike via a reduction in salary over a period of 12 months. A similar scheme is available to help eligible employees buy an electric car in the most affordable way.

At the executive board’s discretion, annual bonus payments are considered in recognition of an individual’s performance and company profitability.

We offer interest free loans (up to £10,000) for annual travel tickets for eligible employees, repayable monthly through payroll.

Parking is available for nominated employees in the rear car park at Old Hyde House; the alternative is reimbursement of the cost of workplace parking at a nearby public car park.

Those who have been employed by ADAM for more than one year are entitled, where appropriate, to Enhanced Maternal Pay (EMP), Enhanced Paternal Pay (EPP) and Adoption Enhanced Policy. EMP is payable for the first 14 weeks; thereafter a rate equivalent to statutory maternity pay. EPP is payable for a maximum of four weeks during the first year following the birth of the baby.

After successful completion of probation, and depending upon their role, our agile working policy allows employees to work from home up to 40% of their working week, with working hours aligned with office hours as far as possible.
